Analysis of transport infrastructure in Prague and its surroundings for large sports, cultural and industrial events

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je na základě analýzy současné dopravní infrastruktury v Praze a okolí zjistit, jestli je dostatečná pro pořádání velkých mezinárodních akcí, a pokud by nebyla, vyzdvihnout její nedostatky a navrhnout dílčí řešení pro její zlepšení. Teoretická část je proto věnována nejdříve obecně dopravní infrastruktuře a jejím jednotlivým oborům. Dále jsou tyto poznatky promítnuty do současné situace v Praze a okolí. V rámci praktické části jsou použita získaná data z dotazníku, pozorování a obecných principů pro vyzdvihnutí nedostatků v dopravní infrastruktuře v Praze a okolí. Následně jsou navržena dílčí řešení, které vycházejí z teoretické části a již existujících studií, které mají za cíl odstranit nedostatky v dopravní infrastruktuře v Praze a okolí a areálech pro mezinárodní akce.

Abstract:

The objective of this thesis is to find out, based on the analysis of the current transport infrastructure in Prague and its surroundings, whether it is sufficient for organizing large international events and, if not, to formulate its shortcomings and propose partial solutions for its improvement. The theoretical part is therefore focused on the general transport infrastructure and its individual fields. Furthermore, these findings are reflected in the current situation in Prague and its surroundings. In the practical part obtained data from questionnaire, observation and general principles are used for formulating deficiencies in transport infrastructure in Prague and its surroundings. Subsequently, partial solutions are proposed, which are based on the theoretical part and already existing studies, which aim to eliminate imperfections in the transport infrastructure in Prague and its surroundings and areas for international events.
