Úprava prostředí pro osoby s poruchami autistického spektra a jejich vliv na míru a typ poskytování podpory

Adjustment of the Environment for People with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Their Impact on the Level and Type of Provided Support

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce popisuje specifické potřeby osob s poruchami autistického spektra (PAS) a možné úpravy prostředí, ve kterém žijí, které jim umožní některé z těchto potřeb naplnit, nebo je kompenzovat. Pomocí takovýchto úprav prostředí pak osoba s PAS získá podporu ve větší samostatnosti, v jejímž důsledku dojde ke snížení potřebné míry podpory poskytované pečující osobou. Práce se věnuje i takovým úpravám prostředí, které sníží náročnost poskytované podpory pro pečující osobu, nebo které sníží dopady chování náročného na péči na třetí osoby (např. sousedy). Bakalářská práce se dotýká i současného nedostatku sociálních služeb pro osoby s PAS v České republice. Je třeba, aby došlo k jejich rozvoji, k rozšíření jejich nabídky a zároveň navýšení stávajících kapacit. U některých osob s PAS lze díky provádění úprav prostředí snížit potřebnou míru podpory natolik, že pro její zajištění lze využívat i terénní sociální službu, nikoli výhradně pobytovou. To vede ke zkompetentnění osoby s PAS a k naplnění její svobodné volby, například ohledně místa bydlení. V rámci bakalářské práce bylo provedeno výzkumné šetření, které prokázalo, že úpravy prostředí jsou v současné době běžně užívány, rodiny osob s PAS je provádějí svépomocí, a cílí na osoby s PAS. Dále, že vedou ke snížení potřebné míry podpory a že v takovém případě osoby s PAS po svém osamostatnějí preferují podporu terénní sociální služby.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis describes the specific needs of people with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and possible alteration of the space in which they live, which will allow them to meet or compensate some of these needs. By means of such space alteration, the person with ASD will receive support in greater independence, as a result of which the necessary level of support provided by the caregiver will be reduced. The work also deals with such alteration of the space, which will reduce the complexity of the provided support for the caregiver, or which will reduce the impact of care-intensive behavior on third parties (eg. neighbors). The bachelor thesis also concerns the current lack of social services for persons with ASD in the Czech Republic. Services need to be developed, their offer expanded and their existing capacities increased. For some persons with ASD, the necessary level of support can be reduced thanks to the implementation of space alteration, so that a field social service can be used to provide it, not exclusively residential. This leads to the competence of the person with ASD and to the fulfillment of his / her free choice, for example regarding the place of residence. As part of the bachelor's thesis, a research survey was conducted, which showed that space modifications are currently commonly used, realized by families of persons with ASD on their own and targeting persons with ASD. Furthermore, that they lead to a reduction in the required level of support and that in such a case persons with ASD, which got more independent, prefer support of field social services.
