Práca sa venuje jednej z teórii medzinárodných vzťahov, neoliberálnemu internacionalizmu, ktorý rozoberá a následne aplikuje ju na súčasný vývoj v Srbsku. Tejto teórii sa venuje v dvoch líniách - v jej predstave o demokracii a následnému predpokladanému vývoju smerom k tzv. mierovej únii.
