Hlavním tématem této práce je fungování zařízení sociálních služeb v Karviné. Práce si klade za cíl přiblížit možnosti poskytování sociálních služeb v Nízkoprahovém zařízení Oáza, spadajícím pod Akademický ústav Karviná. Tato práce obsahuje teoretickou a praktickou část.
