Digital HR transformation in a selected organization.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o průběhu a dopadu digitální transformace ve vybrané organizaci. Cílem této práce je v první řadě přiblížit téma digitální transformace HR a výhod, jež její úspěšné podstoupení pro organizace představuje. V řadě druhé, najít odpověď na hlavní výzkumnou otázku: Jak pracovníci HR oddělení hodnotí proces digitální transformace a zavedení HR nástroje v organizaci? Teoretická část se soustředí na digitální transformaci v kontextu konceptu organizační změny a jednotlivé formy digitálního HR. V metodologii jsou rozebírány dílčí výzkumné otázky a výzkumná strategie. Pro účely výzkumu byla využita kvalitativní strategie a data byla získána pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Ta jsou interpretována společně s výsledky výzkumu v rámci analytické části práce. Na základě získaných informací z výzkumu přináší závěr odpověď na hlavní výzkumnou otázku a doporučení, která HR oddělení pomohou v dalším plánování digitální transformace a vyvarování se potenciálních rizik.

Abstract:

This Master’s Thesis deals with the process and impact of digital transformation in a selected organization. The purpose of this work is, first of all, to expound the topic of HR digital transformation and its advantages, from which every organization that undergoes a successful digital transformation project can benefit. Further, the thesis aims to answer the main research question: How do HR employees evaluate the process of digital transformation and HR tool implementation in an/their organization? The theoretical part focuses on digital transformation in the context of the concept of organizational change and the various forms of digital HR. The methodology discusses the research sub-questions and strategy. A qualitative research approach was used and data were obtained through semi-structured interviews. The obtained data are interpreted together with the research results in the analytical part of the work. Based on the information obtained from the research, the conclusion provides an answer to the main research question and recommendations which will help the HR department in the planning of further digital transformation projects and aid in the avoidance of potential risks.
