Meeting the needs of reconciling work and family life for businesswomen using coworking centers

Abstract:

Cílem předkládané magisterské diplomové práce bylo odpovědět na hlavní výzkumnou otázku: Jak jsou naplňovány potřeby harmonizace práce a rodiny podnikatelek v coworkingových centrech? Základem teoretické části je konceptualizace pojmů z hlavní výzkumné otázky. V úvodu teoretické části je nastíněn společenský kontext vybraného problému, následuje představení konceptu harmonizace práce a rodiny a opatření podporující slaďování pracovního a soukromého života. Následuje kapitola věnující se teoriím rozhodování o způsobech propojování obou zmíněných sfér. Teoretická část práce je ukončena kapitolou o coworkingových centrech Tato kapitola obsahuje i očekávání, jak mohou coworkingová centra naplňovat potřeby harmonizace práce a rodiny podnikatelek. Metodologická část práce seznamuje se zvolenou strategií výzkumu. Vybranou technikou zjišťování dat byl v případě této práce polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Respondentkami, které se rozhovorů účastnily, se staly podnikatelky s vlastní rodinou, které využívají coworkingová centra. Na základě výzkumného šetření jsou v empirické části práce analyzovány a interpretovány získané údaje za účelem zodpovězení dílčích výzkumných otázek a následně hlavní výzkumné otázky. K jejímu zodpovězení dochází v závěru práce. Práce také obsahuje návrhy na podporu opatření harmonizace práce a rodiny podnikatelek.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to answer the main research question: How are meeting the needs of balancing work and family businesswomen in coworking centers? In the introduction to the theoretical part is outlined the social context of the problem, followed by a presentation of the concept of harmonization of work and family, and measures to promote the reconciliation of work and private life. The following chapter is devoted to theories of decision making on ways linking both these spheres. The theoretical part of the work is completed with chapter about coworking centres. This chapter also contains expectations, how can coworking centers meet the needs of balancing work and family entrepreneurs. The methodological part of the thesis introduces chosen research strategy. Selected technique of measuring data in the case of this study was semi-structured interview. Respondents, who participated in the interviews, have become businesswomen with their own family, which are using coworking centres. Based on the research, in the empirical part of the thesis are colleted data analyzed and interpreted in order to answer specific research questions and then the main research question, which is answered in the conclusion of the thesis. The thesis also includes proposals to support measures to balance businesswomen work and family.
