Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o kompetencích a působnosti veřejného ochránce práv. Teoretická část pojednává o ombudsmanech v obecné rovině, vymezení pojmu, historický vývoj. This work is about the competence of the Ombudsman. The theoretical part deals with the ombudsman in general, definition, historical development. I also deal with the Defender of Rights in the Czech Republic, origins, analysis of the law, but also defining its differences.
