Participation of parents in the educational process at selected kindergarten

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou vzájemné spolupráce rodičů a mateřské školy. Vymezuje základní pojmy související s proměnami dnešní rodiny, specifiky rodinné výchovy a výchovy a vzdělávání v současné mateřské škole ve vztahu k dítěti předškolního věku. Zdůrazňuje nezbytnost, význam a přínosy efektivní spolupráce mezi školou a rodiči s ohledem na maximální rozvoj osobnosti dítěte. Výzkum práce je zaměřen na objasnění problémových aspektů spolupráce ze strany rodičů i učitelů v mateřské škole Pod Špilberkem s ohledem na konkrétní cíle týkající se spolupráce stanovené v ŠVP mateřské školy. Dotazováním rodičů i učitelů upřesňuje míru informovanosti s možnostmi a cíli spolupráce, které rodiče mají po praktické stránce; porovnává vzájemná očekávání rodičů a učitelů od spolupráce, zjišťuje jaké postoje k vzájemné spolupráci rodiče i učitelky zaujímají a nakolik stávající spolupráci považují za funkční a uspokojivou.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the problems of mutual cooperation between kindergarten and parents. Thesis defines the basic concepts related to the changes in a postmodern family, to the specificities of family education and the education in kindergarten, all this in a relation to the pre-school children. Necessity, importance and benefits of the effective cooperation between parents and kindergarten to the optimal development of the children’s personality is emphasized in this thesis.The research is focused on the clarification of the problematic aspects of the cooperation in actual kindergarten (MŠ “Pod Špilberkem”) concentrating to the concrete goals of this coaction determined by the School education program of this kindergarten. By using the specific questionnaires, parents and teachers are asked to specify the level of awareness of possibilities and goals of the cooperation. Thesis compare their expectations towards the relationships associated with the cooperation, it identifies the attitudes of parents and teachers towards these relationships and it reveals how extent they consider that the existing cooperation is functional and satisfactory.
