Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje tvorbě českého jazykového korpusu, který je z hlediska velikosti, struktury a obsahu ekvivalentem korpusu americké angličtiny známého jako Brown Corpus. K tvorbě korpusu jsou využity texty volně přístupné na internetu. Text práce obecně charakterizuje korpusovou lingvistiku a zasazuje Brown Corpus do jejího kontextu. This bachelor’s thesis is dedicated to building a Czech corpus which is an equivalent of the American English corpus known as Brown Corpus in terms of size, arrangement, and contents. The corpus is built from texts freely accessible on the internet.
