Students' knowledge of permanent urinary catheterization

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na téma Znalosti studentů o permanentní močové katetrizaci. V teoretické části práce je popsána anatomie močových cest, charakterizována katetrizace močového systému, následně jsou popsány druhy katétrů, ošetřovatelská péče, prevence a komplikace při zavádění a v neposlední řadě kompetence k zavedení močového katétru. Výzkumná část je zaměřena na studenty druhého ročníku oboru Zdravotnické záchranářství, kteří měli při modelové situaci za úkol zavést sterilně permanentní močový katétr ženě, a dále zodpovědět otázky v dotazníku ohledně permanentních močových katétrů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of Students' knowledge of permanent urinary catheterization. The theoretical part describes the anatomy of the urinary tract, characterizes the catheterization of the urinary system, followed by the description of the types of catheters, nursing care, prevention and complications during insertion, and, last but not least, the competence to insert a urinary catheter. The research part is focused on second-year students in the field of Medical Rescue, who had the task of introducing a sterile permanent urinary catheter to a woman in a model situation answering questions in a questionnaire about permanent urinary catheters.
