The impact of the global crisis 2008-2009 on the real sector of the German economy

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá dopady světové krize 2008-2009 na německou ekonomiku. Německá ekonomika byla vážně zasažena krizí let 2008-2009, jejíž původ je možno hledat ve Spojených státech. Tato krize se negativně odrazila jak na finančních trzích, tak zasáhla ve svých důsledcích i reálný sektor německé ekonomiky. Pokles zaznamenala nejvýznamnější odvětví jako strojírenský, automobilový či chemický průmysl. Krize znesnadnila stavební i podnikatelskou činnost. Rostla nezaměstnanost. V reakci na nastalou situaci zareagovala německá vláda přijetím dvou konjunkturálních balíčků, pomocí nichž se pokusila pokles ekonomiky zastavit a opětovně stabilizovat. Přijatá krizová opatření se přitom zaměřovala na podporu podnikatelů, automobilového průmyslu či posílení investiční činnosti. Vládou přijatá opatření ve svých důsledcích přispěla k překonání krize a v roce 2010 tak bylo možno sledovat opětovný růst HDP, zahraničního obchodu i oživením průmyslové výroby či podnikatelské činnosti.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis deals with the effects of the global crisis 2008-2009 on the German economy. The German economy was badly hit by the crisis 2008-2009. This crisis started in the United States and had a negative impact on financial markets as well as on the real sector of the German economy. The decrease took note of the most important sectors of German economy such as engineering, automotive and chemical industry. The crisis made it difficult for building and business activities too. The unemployment was rising. In response to this situation, the German government responded by adopting two stimulus packages which should try to stop the decline of the economy and to re-stabilize it. Adopted emergency measures were focused on supporting of business, automotive industry and on the strengthening of investment activities as well. The measures taken by the government contributed in its consequences to overcoming the crisis and it there was a re-growth of GDP, foreign trade and recovery of industrial production as well as business activities in 2010.
