The Coexistence of the Germans and the Czechs in Znojmo in the First Half of the 20th Century

Abstract:

The work is engaging with coexistence of Czechs and Germans in the mora- vian town Znojmo in the first half of the 20th century. It consists of two parts- the teoretical part and the practical part. The teoretical part is firstly engaging with coexistence of Czechs and Germans in our country generally, then with the history of coexistence of both nations in Znojmo and finally with its own time of the first half of the 20th century. The practical part of the work is engaging with the experiences of witnesses of this time in Znojmo, which complete and depict this searched time.

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá soužitím Čechů a Němců ve Znojmě v 1. polovině 20.století. Skládá se ze dvou částí - teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část se nej- prve zabývá soužitím Čechů a Němců na území našeho státu obecně, dále historií soužití těchto národů ve Znojmě a nakonec vlastním obdobím 1. poloviny 20.století. Praktická část práce je založena především na zá- žitcích pamětníků, které doplňují a dokreslují historické události sle- dovaného období.
