Comparative analysis of environmental education concepts in curriculum documents of selected Central European countries

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá komparací dokumentů, určujících zásady výuky environmentální výchovy v předškolním vzdělávání, ve státech střední Evropy České republiky, Slovenska, Polska. Prostudovat odbornou literaturu a další zdroje. Na základě tohoto studia vytvořit teoretickou část práce. Ta je zaměřená primárně na problematiku environmentální výchovy, její historii, cíle a základní pojmy. Akcentováno je předškolní období. Empirická část se zabývá komparativní analýzou kurikulárních dokumentů určených států a zasazuje je také do kontextu obecně uznávaných cílů environmentální výchovy. V závěru práce shrnuje výsledky komparace a zaměřuje se na odlišnosti a shodné prvky pojetí environmentální výchovy ve vybraných státech.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of documents defining the principles of environmental pre-school education in Central European countries ­ Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland. The theoretical section of the paper based on the study of technical literature and other resources focuses primarily on issues of environmental education, its history, aims and basic concepts. The pre-school period is particularly emphasized in it. The practical section deals with the comparative analysis of the curriculum documents of the mentioned countries, while putting them in the context of the generally acknowledged objectives of environmental education. In the final section, the thesis summarizes the results of comparison and discusses the different and identical elements of the concept of environmental education in the given countries.
