Frequent difficulties and inconveniences in communication process with institutions from the perspective of blind and purblind people

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo zjistit, jak probíhá komunikace osob zrakově postižených s institucemi, jako jsou úřady, zdravotnická zařízení a pošty, jaké časté komunikační obtíže tato jednání doprovázejí, případně jak jim lze předejít. Teoretická část je rozdělená do tří částí. První část pojednává o typech zrakového postižení, statistice jejich výskyty a o změnách, které přináší do života zrakově postiženého. Druhá část je věnovaná komunikaci, komunikačním problémům a možnostem zlepšení komunikace. Třetí část vysvětluje pojem instituce. Metodologická část vysvětluje výběr výzkumné strategie, metody a techniky sběru dat včetně jejich výhod a omezení. V poslední části své práce se zabývám analýzou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s nevidomými a slabozrakými respondenty. V závěru shrnuji zjištění, ke kterým jsem došla ve výsledku této analýzy.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to determine how the communication of visually impaired persons with institutions such as offices, medical institutions and post offices works, which communication difficulties often accompany this meeting and how they can be prevented. The theoretical part is divided into three parts. The first section discusses the types of visual impairment, the statistics of their occurrence and those changes, which it brings to the life of visually impaired person. The second part is devoted to communication, communication problems and possibilities of its improving. The third section explains the concept of the institution. The methodology section explains the selection of research strategies, methods and data collection techniques, including their advantages and limitations. The last part of my thesis presents an analysis of semi-structured interviews with blind and visually impaired respondents. The conclusion summarizes the findings, which I reached as a result of this analysis.
