Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma Jednota bratrská na Mladoboleslavsku představuje protestantskou evangelickou církev vzešlou z revolučního hnutí – husitství. Cílem je seznámit se se skupinou, která ovlivňovala mladoboleslavské dějiny a svými monumentálními stavbami změnila ráz historického centra města. To vše je doplněno značným vlivem v oblasti politiky, kultury a především vzdělání. Teoretická část se zabývá městem Mladá Boleslav, jako královským městem s mnohými privilegii. Zároveň je představena jako centrum církevního společenství Jednoty bratrské, ze které vzešly historicky významné osoby, povětšinou nepřekonatelní vzdělanci (př. Jan Blahoslav, poslední biskup J. A. Komenský ad).Nedílnou součástí práce jsou kapitoly zaměřené na hmotné a nehmotné kulturní dědictví, které po svém působení Jednota bratrská bezpochyby zanechala. Sbor českých bratří, unikátní tiskárna či bratrská škola v oblasti zvané Karmel stále ohromuje svou velikostí i historickou hodnotou. Materiální stránka je doplněna nepřehlédnutelnou nemateriální (nehmotnou). Pojmenování místa Karmel, školský systém Jednoty, zahraniční stáže, knihtisk. To vše, pod záštitou Jednoty bratrské, pozvedlo hodnoty města na vysokou úroveň a zaručovalo rozmach v dalším historickém dění.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is Unity of the Brethren in Mladá Boleslav. In introduces protestant and evangelical church which emerged from the revolutionary movement – Hussitism. The goal is to get acquainted with the group that influenced the history of Mladá Boleslav and changed the character of the historic center with its monumental buildings. All of this is supplemented by considerable influence in the areas of politics, culture and especially education. The theoretic part deals with the city of Mladá Boleslav as a royal´s city with a lot of privileges. It is at, the same time, introduced as the centerpoint of the church community of the Unity of the Brethren, wherefrom famous people came, most of the time great intellectuals (for example Jan Blahoslav last bishop or J. A. Komenský and other).An integral part of the thesis are chapters, which are focused on tangible and intangible culture heritage left behind by the Unity of the Brethren. The choir of the Czech Brethren, unique printer of brethren school in the area called Karmel still amazes with it´s size and historic value. The material side is completed by the unmistakable intanglible side. The designation of the Karmel area, school system of the Unity, internship abroad, letterpress – all of this under the protection of the Unity of the Brethren increased values of city life to high level and ensured the future historic boom.
