Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o oficiáních královských rezidencích královny Alžběty II. Cílem je podat ucelený pohled na historii těchto královských paláců a jejich účel, který se po dobu jejich existence měnil a dále popsat jejich význam a důležitost pro monarchii, jak v minulosti, tak dnes.
