Influence the level of special and general sports performance junior national team in white water slalom success in the crucial race

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá vlivem tělesné zdatnosti na specifickou výkonnost u vodních slalomářů, členů reprezentačního družstva juniorů České republiky v letech 2000-2015. S cílem, aby na základě jednoduchého testování tělesné zdatnosti bylo možné predikovat výsledky „na vodě“ (specifické výkonnosti) a případně předpoklady k výsledkům v závodech. A pokusit se nalézt vazbu mezi úrovní specifické výkonnosti a výsledky na závodech Mistrovství světa juniorů, Mistrovství Evropy juniorů a Mistrovství dorostu České republiky. V úvodní teoretické části se práce zabývá rozborem zahraničních prací a prací publikovaných našimi výzkumníky z oblasti, fyziologie, sportovního tréninku, antropometrie, psychologie, a testováním v kanoistice, tak abychom se inspirovali při nalezení nejvhodnějších testů fyzické zdatnosti a porovnali naší testovou baterii specifické výkonnosti s tím jak a zda se tyto dovednosti testují ve světě. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 101 juniorských reprezentantů ČR ve věku 14-18 let, v kategorii K1 ženy, K1 muži a C1 muži. Tělesná zdatnost byla stanovena standardní testovou baterií (Měkota & Blahuš, 1983, Havlík 1993). Výsledky specifické výkonnosti stanovují dosažené časy jízdy na slalomové lodi na vzdálenosti 40 m, 80 m, 200 m a 600 m. Jedná se testovou baterii dle Bílého (Süss, Bílý & Bunc, 2008). Pro zhodnocení jednotlivých testových vektorů byla použita základní popisná statistika se Shapiro Wilkovým testem. Příprava dat byla realizována v MS Excel v programu Statistica byly spočteny statistické parametry. Výsledky nám potvrdily první hypotézu, že úroveň tělesné zdatnosti se statisticky významně podílí na specifické výkonnosti juniorů ve vodním slalomu. Ale hodnoty korelačních koeficientů se pohybují na spodní hranici středně těsné závislosti. Druhou hypotézu, vazbu času jízdy na 600 m na obecné vytrvalosti jsme zamítli pro kategorii kajakářů mužů K1m. Pro třetí hypotézu, vazbu výsledků na distancích od 40 do 200 m na dynamické síle se podařilo opět prokázat statisticky významnou vazbu, ale s nepříliš vysokou věcnou významností. Rovněž vazba sportovních úspěchů na specifické výkonnosti vykazuje zřetelné trendy. Na základě získaných výsledků jsme navrhli doplnění testové baterie o prvky slalomové techniky a pevného startu, zrychlování slalomové lodi v průběhu testu. Rovněž vliv psychologického profilu sportovce, jeho motivace a zvládání stresů jsou faktory, s nimiž je do budoucna nutné při tréninkové přípravě a v přípravě na závody pracovat. Získané výsledky by měly podpořit další rozvoj výzkumných přístupů ke zkvalitnění trenérské práce.

Abstract:

The present PhD thesis deals with the influence of physical fitness on specific performance of water slalom racers, members of the national junior team of the Czech Republic in the years 2000-2015. The aim is to be able to predict, based on a simple physical fitness test, the "on the water" results (specific performance) and possibly the prerequisites for the results in the competitions, and also to make efforts to find a bond between the level of the specific performance and the results at the Junior World Championships, the Junior European Championships and the Czech Youth Championship. In the introductory theoretical part, the thesis analyses the publications from abroad and those published by our researchers in the field of physiology, sports training, anthropometry, psychology and testing in canoeing, so that we could be inspired to find the most appropriate physical fitness tests and to compare our test battery of specific performance with how and whether these skills are being tested worldwide. The research test team consisted of 101 junior representatives of the Czech Republic, aged 14-18, in the category K1 women, K1 men and C1 men. Physical fitness was determined by a standard test battery (Měkota & Blahuš, 1983, Havlík 1993). Results of specific performance determine the slalom racing times achieved at 40 m, 80 m, 200 m, and 600 m. It is a test battery according to Bílý (Süss, Bílý & Bunc, 2008). For evaluation of individual test vectors, basic descriptive statistics was used with Shapiro-Wilk test. The preparation of data was carried out in MS Excel; the statistical parameters were calculated in the Statistica program. The results confirmed the first hypothesis that the level of physical fitness is statistically significant in the specific performance of juniors in water slalom. However, the values of correlation coefficients are at the lower limit of the moderately tight dependence. The second hypothesis, the bond between a 600-m racing time and general endurance, was rejected for the category K1m of men's kayakers. For the third hypothesis, the bond between the results at distances from 40 to 200 m and the dynamic strength has again proved to be statistically significant, but not with a very high factual significance. Also, the bond between the sport success and the specific performance shows clear trends. On the basis of the results obtained, we proposed to supplement the test battery with the elements of slalom technology and fixed start line, accelerating the slalom boat during the test. Also, the influence of athlete’s psychological profile, his/her motivation and stress management are the factors that should be necessarily taken into account in the future training and preparation for races. The results obtained should encourage further development of research approaches to improve the coaching job.
