Corporate management and technology as a tool for enterprise competitiveness

Abstract:

Inovace, technologie, datové sklady či tok informací zásadně mění povahu a konkurenceschopnost odvětví a jednotlivých podniků. Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje implementaci a dopadům Průmyslu 4.0 jako nástroje řízení a konkurenceschopnosti vybraného výrobního automobilového podniku. Teoretická část práce představuje nejdůležitější teoretické poznatky týkající se podnikového managementu, průmyslového inženýrství a klíčových pojmů konceptu Průmyslu 4.0. K tomu je využita metoda analýzy sekundárních zdrojů odborné literatury (monografií, odborných článků, relevantních internetových zdrojů). Aplikační část bakalářská práce umožňuje na základě metod pozorování, analýz daného odvětví a vybraného podniku (využití interních materiálů a sekundárních zdrojů) a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s managementem firmy vyhodnotit, jak podnik implementuje nástroje Průmyslu 4.0 a jaký vliv to má na jeho podnikový management a konkurenceschopnost v oboru. Na základě zjištěných informací jsou navrženy efektivní způsoby řízení podniku vedoucí k jeho rozvoji a konkurenceschopnosti s využitím nástrojů technologie Průmyslu 4.0. Cílem bakalářské práce je navrhnout efektivní metody řízení podniku pro jeho vývoj a konkurenceschopnost s využitím nástrojů Průmyslu 4.0.

Abstract:

Innovation, technology, data warehouses or the flow of information are fundamentally changing the nature and competitiveness of industries and individual businesses. This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the implementation and impacts of Industry 4.0 as a tool for management and competitiveness of a selected automotive manufacturing company. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the most important theoretical knowledge regarding business management, industrial engineering and key terms of the Industry 4.0 concept. For this, the method of analyzing secondary sources of professional literature (monographs, professional articles, relevant internet sources) is used. The application part of the bachelor's thesis allows, based on methods of observation, analyzes of the given industry and the selected company (use of internal materials and secondary sources) and semi-structured interviews with the company's management, to evaluate how the company implements Industry 4.0 tools and what effect this has on its corporate management and competitiveness in field. On the basis of the information found, effective ways of managing the business leading to its development and competitiveness using the tools of Industry 4.0 technology are proposed. The aim of the thesis is to propose effective methods of business management for its development and competitiveness using the tools of Industry 4.0.
