Vznik a vývoj pagod
The origin and development of pagodas
Abstract:
Abstract:
In this thesis I study the development of pagodas. The first part examines their roots between Indian stupas and multi–storey Chinese architecture and then I deal with pagodas in Chine, Korea, Japan and Tibet. Crucial points are their various forms, context between them, and explanation of the function of the pagodas.
