Imperfect competition

Abstract:

In my graduation theses named „Imperfect competition“ I am dealing mainly with markets problematic, either perfect or imperfect, particulary I am dealing with forms of imperfect competition such as monopoly, duopoly, oligopoly, then with market and its mechanism, query and offer, competition itself and also with anti-trust policy.In my work I also refer to law nr.575/2001 about setup of government`s actions and about setup of central state administration in the reading of after instructions and so I refer as well to law nr.136/2001 Z.z. about protection of economic competition in the reading of after instructions. My work consists of opening, five chapters and conclusion.In my first chapter I analyze topic of markets and their mechanism, query, offer and balanced prices.The second chapter is focused mainly on perfect competition.The third chapter, reversly, is focused on imperfect competition and forms of such a competition.The fourth chapter named „Anti-trust policy of Slovak Republic“embraces activities, commission and actions of Anti-trust bureau and the fifth chapter is concentrated to causes solved by Anti-trust bureau. The aim or goal of this presented work is to inform reader with given subject and to deliver , at least, the basic informations about this subject inasmuch as this topic is quite complex.

Abstract:

Anotácia V diplomovej práci s názvom Nedokonalá konkurencia sa zaoberáme problematikou trhov, či už dokonalých alebo nedokonalých, konkrétne formami nedokonalej konkurencie ako monopoly, duopoly, oligopoly, trhom a trhovými mechanizmami, dopytom a ponukou, konkurenciou ako takou a protimonopolnou politikou. V práci sa odvolávame tiež na zákon č. 575/2001 o organizácii činností vlády a organizácii ústrednej štátnej správy v znení neskorších predpisov, ako aj na zákon č. 136/2001 Z. z. o ochrane hospodárskej súťaže v znení neskorších predpisov. Práca sa skladá z úvodu, piatich kapitol a záveru. V prvej kapitole rozoberáme tému trhy a trhové mechanizmy, dopytu, ponuku a rovnovážne ceny. Druhá kapitola je zameraná na dokonalú konkurenciu. Tretia kapitola naopak na nedokonalú konkurenciu a formy nedokonalej konkurencie. Štvrtá kapitola s názvom Protimonopolná politika Slovenskej republiky zahŕňa činnosti, poslanie a aktivity Protimonopolného úradu a posledná piata kapitola je zameraná na kauzy riešené Protimonopolným úradom. Cieľom predkladanej práce je oboznámiť čitateľa s danou problematikou, a poskytnúť o nej aspoň základné informácie, keďže daná téma je pomerne obšírna.
