The goal of the submitted thesis: “Socio-economic benefits of the Moravian Gallery in Brno” is to determine the benefits on city, regional and national levels. In the beginning, I devote my effort to reveal perception of culture in Europe, role and importance of museums and specificity of Czech cultural space.
