Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce mapuje komplexní restaurátorský zásah velkoformátového grafického listu ze sbírek Vlastivědného muzea v Olomouci. Dílo s názvem "Doktorská univerzitní teze pro Theophila Schneidera" je datováno do roku 1744. Jedná se o kombinaci grafických technik mezzotinty a mědirytu na ručním papíru s druhotnou textilní podložkou. Kulturně-historická část práce se zaměřuje na svébytnou tématiku univerzitních tezí a popisuje ikonografii tohoto konkrétního díla. Cílem restaurátorského zásahu a této závěrečné práce je uvedení díla do stavu, který by zamezoval případné degradaci a zároveň respektoval jeho historický a estetický odkaz. Součástí je fotografická příloha dokumentující výchozí stav díla před restaurováním, v průběhu restaurování a po zásahu.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis maps the comprehensive restoration intervention of a large- format graphic sheet from the collections of the Regional Museum in Olomouc. The object with the title Doctoral University Theses for Theophil Schneider dates back to 1744. It combines the mezzotint and copper engraving techniques on handmade paper with full-surface textile lining. The cultural-historical part of the thesis focuses on the unique topic of university theses and describes the circumstances of its creation and the iconography of this particular work. The restoration intervention's aim and this final work is to restore the work to a condition that would prevent possible degradation and, at the same time, respect its historical and aesthetic legacy. A photographic attachment is included to document the original state of the work before restoration, during, and after the restoration intervention.
