Design of the structure of dashboards for a manufacturing company according to the MMABP methodology

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce řeší návrh struktury dashboardů v rámci Business Intelligence z business modelu výrobního podniku podle metodiky MMABP. Navazuje tak na práci Použití MMABP pro návrh dashboardů od Jakuba Hejduka z roku 2017, která představila metodický rámec pro návrh dashboardů pro metodiku MMABP. Hlavním cílem této práce je rozšířit a ověřit zmíněný metodický rámec pro návrh dashboardů. K tomuto účelu je vytvořen business model výrobního podniku, na který je rozšířený metodický rámec aplikován. Výsledkem je navržená struktura dashboardů podle rozšířeného metodického rámce pro návrh dashboardů. Ten byl obohacen o pravidla identifikace ukazatelů z jednotlivých diagramů business modelu a jejich následné zařazení do struktury dashboardu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the design of dashboards structure within Business Intelligence based on the business model of a manufacturing company according to the MMABP methodology. It follows on the diploma thesis Using MMABP to design dashboards by Jakub Hejduk from 2017, which presents a methodological framework for dashboard design based on MMABP methodology. The main goal of this work is to expand and evaluate the methodological framework for dashboard design. For this purpose, a business model of a manufacturing company is created, to which the extended methodological framework is applied. The result is the proposed dashboard structure according to the extended methodological framework for dashboard design. It was enriched with rules for identifying indicators from individual diagrams of the business model and their inclusion to the structure of dashboard.
