The objectives of social workers in working with people who have moderate and severe mental disabilities and their assessment of the situation.

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, zdali se liší cíle sociálních pracovníků pracujících s lidmi se středně těžkým a těžkým mentálním postižením od obecných cílů dané služby, kde pracují. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy v oblasti mentálního postižení a základních potřeb těchto osob. Dále je práce zaměřená na cíle sociálních pracovníků, profesní kompetence i předpoklady sociálního pracovníka, rovněž teoretická část ukazuje principy, metody a cíle sociální práce s lidmi s mentálním postižením v multidisciplinárním smyslu. Cílem aplikační části je zjistit, jestli se shodují cíle sociální pracovnice s cíli dané služby, kde pracuje. Aplikační část je zaměřená na ostravský denní stacionář MIKASA a sociální pracovnici, která v tomto zařízení pracuje.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to determine if there is a difference between the objective of these social workers and the facilities they work for. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theorical part defines the basic terms in the field of mental disabilities, moderate and severe mental disabilities and the basic needs of people afflicted with these conditions. The work also deals with the aims of the social workers, their workplace competence and predispositions for this line of work. This part shows the principles, methods and goals of social work with mentaly retarded people in the multidisciplinary sence. Finding out whether the aims of the social workers and their facilities correspond is the goal of the pratical part. The focus is on day-care centre MIKASA in Ostrava and its social workers.
