Franco Zeffirelli (nar. 1923) proslul jako režisér oper a zdařilých filmových adaptací her Williama Shakespeara, jimiž jsou konkrétně Zkrocení zlé ženy (1967), Romeo a Julie (1968) a Hamlet (1990). Základ textu tvoří podrobná analýza posledního jmenovaného filmu, a to z hlediska jeho filmové struktury a sound designu. Franco Zeffirelli (born in 1923) is a renowned director of operas and successful stage-to-film adaptations of William Shakespeare's plays - namely Taming of the Shrew (1967), Romeo and Juliet (1968) and Hamlet (1990).
