Metamorphosis life values educators in the children´s home in Ústí nad Labem

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá proměnou životních hodnot u vychovatelů v dětském domově v Ústí nad Labem. Povolání vychovatele je jedna z mnoha pomáhajících profesí, která může člověka ovlivňovat i měnit. V teoretické části se zaměřujeme na vývojové stádium dospělosti, ústavní péči a její klasifikaci, vymezení pojmu vychovatel, specifikaci jeho náplně práce a problematiku životních hodnot člověka. V empirické části kvalitativní metodou, prostřednictvím hloubkových rozhovorů zkoumáme vychovatele pracující v dětském domově v Ústí nad Labem. Zjišťujeme jejich postoje, osobní a pracovní vztahy, pocity, rodinné vazby, hodnoty a následné proměny, které nastaly v rámci jejich profese.

Abstract:

The objective of this bachelor thesis is the transformation of life values in educator in Ústí nad Labem children's home. The job of educator is one of many aiding professions, which can influence and change a person. In the theoretical part we focus on the developmental stage of adulthood, institutional care and its classification, definition of the term "educator", specification of its job description and the concept of human life values. In the empirical part, by the means of qualitative method and through in-depth interviews, we investigate educators in Ústí nad Labem children's home. We discover their attitudes, personal and professional relationships, feelings, family ties, values and subsequent changes which have occurred within their profession.
