Emotionality in German-speaking literature in the second half of the 20. century on example of the novel "Die gerettete Zunge" by Ellias Canetti

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with emotionality with an example on the Novel The Tongue Set Free by austrian author Elias Canetti, where the attention is primarly focused on parental love. The issue is unconditional mutual love from father to his son and hard and strict love of mother, who behaves to her son with mockery, cruelty and contempt. The teoretical part deals with terms like e.g. emotionality, emotions and their attributes or the ways of realization. Special attention is devoted to parental love. Further are described various types of love, which are shortly characterized. The point is love of family, parental love, partnerlove, hateful love or oedipuslove. The aim of this thesis is an analysis of founded documents, in which appears parenthal love. The parenthal love ist analysed at three levels, that is in relation to education, in manifestations of parenthal love to child and in relation to upbringing of child. Results of the analysis reveal attachments and relationships, which are going on in the family and point out to possible causes of their source.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o emocionalitě, vyjádřené na příkladu románu Zachráněný jazyk od rakouského spisovatele Eliase Canettiho, přičemž je pozornost zaměřena především na rodičovskou lásku. Jedná se o bezpodmínečnou vzájemnou lásku otce vůči svému synovi, a tvrdou a přísnou lásku matky, která se vůči synovi staví s výsměchem, krutostí a pohrdáním. Teoretická část se zabývá pojmy, jako je např. emocionalita, emoce a jejich vlastnosti či realizace. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována rodičovské lásce. Dále jsou popsány různé druhy lásky, které jsou krátce charakterizovány. Jedná se např. o tzv. Hassliebe, partnerskou, rodičovskou nebo oidipovskou lásku. Diplomová práce se nejvíce věnuje tematizaci rodičovské lásky. Cílem této práce je analýza nalezených dokladů, ve kterých se objevuje rodičovská láska, která je analyzována na třech úrovních, a to ve vztahu ke vzdělání, k projevům rodičovské lásky vůči dítěti a ve vztahu k výchově dítěte. Výsledky analýzy poodhalí rozporuplná pouta a vztahy, které se odehrávají v rodině, a poukáže na možné příčiny jejich vzniku.
