Nazism and Stalinism as Political Religions
Abstract:
Ústředním tématem diplomové práce je nacismus a stalinismus. Zabývám se interpretací totalitarismu jako "politického náboženství", kterou aplikuji právě na tato totalitní hnutí. Cílem práce je odpovědět na otázku, zda lze nacismus a stalinismus považovat či vnímat jako jistý druh "sekulárního náboženství".
Abstract:
The principal topic of the following diploma thesis is Nazism and Stalinism. I focus on the interpretation of totalitarianism as a "political religion", which I apply on those totalitarian movements. The objective of this thesis is to answer the question whether Nazism and Stalinism can be considered or perceived as a kind of "secular religion".
