Strategic analysis of the company XY

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je pomocí metod strategické analýzy identifikovat silné stránky, slabé stránky, příležitosti a hrozby vyplývající pro podnik XY z vývoje okolního prostředí. Tato práce je rozdělena převážně na dvě části, na teoreticko-metodologickou a praktickou. V první zmíněné části jsou rozebrány metody strategické analýzy a v druhé části dochází k aplikování těchto metod. Pro analýzu vnějšího a vnitřního prostřední vybraného podniku jsou použity metody analýzy PESTLE, odvětví, konkurence, Porterův model 5 sil, VRIO, portfolio a finanční. Jako poslední metoda je provedena SWOT analýza, ze které vychází souhrnná analýza společnosti.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats arising for enterprise XY from the development of the surrounding environment using the methods of strategic analysis. This thesis is mainly divided into two parts, theoretical-methodological and practical. In the first mentioned part the methods of strategic analysis are discussed and in the second part the application of these methods takes place. For the analysis of the external and internal environment of the selected company, the methods of PESTLE, industry, competitor, Porter's 5 forces model, VRIO, portfolio and financial analysis are used. As the last method, SWOT analysis is performed, from which the overall analysis of the company is based.
