Influence of kinesiotherapy on heels valgus in children and its effect on posture

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo zhodnotit vliv kinezioterapie na posturu u dětí s valgozitou paty. Se souhlasem zákonných zástupců se výzkumu zúčastnilo 20 dětí (5,4 let ? 0,3) s oboustrannou statickou valgozitou pat (9,5° ? 1,6). Probandi byli rozděleni do experimentální (s kinezioterapií) a kontrolní (bez kinezioterapie) skupiny. Děti s traumatickým nebo neurologickým postižením na dolních končetinách, ortopedickou pomůckou, vrozenými vývojovými vadami a již absolvovanou nebo momentálně probíhající rehabilitací nebyly pro soubor probandů vybrány. Každý týden po dobu tří měsíců probíhala terapie experimentální skupiny pod vedením fyzioterapeutky 30 - 45 minut, zbytek týdne autoterapie cca 10 - 20 min denně. Terapie zahrnovala senzomotorickou stimulaci plosky a polohy z aktivní kinezioterapie na základě vývojové kineziologie. K objektivizaci dat byl využit goniometr a 2D video analýza. Měřenými parametry byly hodnoty statické valgozity paty, úhlové odchylky na pánvi, kyčelních a kolenních kloubech a na lopatce ve stoji a ve středu stojné fáze chůze. Po tříměsíční terapii došlo u experimentální skupiny k významnému snížení statické valgozity paty, ve stoji také ke zmírnění anteverze pánve a většímu přilepení pravé lopatky k páteři, při chůzi došlo ke snížení úhlu anteverze pánve, pravé spiny iliacy posterior superior, pravého kyčelního kloubu, obou kolenních kloubů a obou lopatek. Z výsledků práce vyplývá, že dlouhodobá aktivní kinezioterapie může být vhodnou metodou při korekci statické valgozity paty a úpravě celkové postury u dětí.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis was to evaluate the effect of kinesiotherapy on posture in children with heel valgus. With the consent of the legal representatives, 20 children (5.4 years ? 0.3) with bilateral static valgus pat (9.5 ° ? 1.6) participated in the research. Probands were divided into experimental (with kinesiotherapy) and control (without kinesiotherapy) groups. Children with traumatic or neurological disabilities in the lower limbs, orthopedic aids, congenital malformations and already completed or currently undergoing rehabilitation were not selected for the group of probands. Therapy of the experimental group was guided by physiotherapist, took 30-45 minutes every week for three months. Autotherapy took place for the rest of the week about 10-20 minutes a day. The therapy included sensomotoric stimulation and active kinesiotherapy based on neurodevelopmental kinesiology. A goniometer and 2D video analysis were used to objectify the data. The measured parameters icluded values of static heel valgosity, angular deviations in the pelvis, hip and knee joints and on the shoulder blade while standing and in the midstance phace of gait cycle. After three months of therapy, the group had a significant reduction in static heel valgus, while standing also decreased pelvic anteversion and abduction of the right scapula, while midstance there was a reduction of the pelvic anteversion, right hip drop, right hip joint, both knee joints and both scapulas. The results show long-term active kinesiotherapy may be a suitable method for correction the static heel valgosity and adjusting the overall posture in children.
