From atheism to Catholicism: Psychological aspects of religious conversion in Czech Republic
Abstract:
Cílem této práce je přiblížit současnou situaci na poli náboženských konverzí na území České republiky. Práce je zaměřena na osobní zkušenosti mladých konvertitů k římskokatolické církvi a směřuje k poznání toho, do jaké míry církev poskytla mladému člověku uspokojení psychologických potřeb, s ohledem na jejich sebeidentifikaci s katolickou církví a jejich důvody pro konverzi.

The aim of this study is show the current situation in the field of religious conversion in the Czech Republic. This work is focused on the personal experience of young converts to Roman Catholicism and directed to the knowledge of the extent to which the Church has provided young person satisfying psychological needs, with respect to their self-identification with the Catholic Church and their reasons …more
