Abstract:
Diploma thesis „Peter Bernstein – style analysis ” deals with life and works of guitarist Peter Bernstein, describes important figures from jazz history which influenced his playing and compositional style and through analysis of his pieces it tries to identify his improvisational devices.

Diplomová práce „Peter Bernstein – štýlová analýza“ pojednává o životě a díle kytaristy Petera Bernsteina, popisuje výrazné osobnosti historie jazzu, které ho ovlivnily při utváření jeho vlastního interpretačního a kompozičního stylu a pomocí analýzy jeho skladeb se snaží identifikovat improvizační výrazové prostředky
