Public support of the landscape character protection and sustainable forms of tourism in the upper part of the Praděd peak

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na krajinný ráz a turismus v souvislosti s ochranou životního prostředí. Zabývá se především vztahem profesionálních ochranářů v různých organizacích a majiteli pozemků a staveb v řešeném území, včetně názorů laické veřejnosti. Problémy na českém území jsou konfrontovány s obdobnými problémy v zahraničí a jsou z této činnosti vyvozeny závěry. Poněvadž je každá krajina jiná, byly odlišné postupy a práce pracovníků ochrany životního prostředí v jednotlivých zemích. Hlavním bodem je spolupráce českých odborníků s odborníky světovými, což je pro naši zemi a především pro ohroženou přírodu velkým přínosem. Práce se soustředí na podrobné studium problémů nejvyšších poloh Jeseníků a to okolí Pradědu. Je postupováno chronologicky od historie území a historického zabydlování přes vývoj krajinného rázu a především vývoj turismu. Je rozlišena pěší turistika, běžecké lyžování, sjezdové lyžování. Vše je zaměřeno na to jakým způsobem tyto činnosti by mohly poškozovat přírodu. Z dostupných mediálních zdrojů jsou vybrány názory odlišně smýšlejících lidí, především těch, kterým šlo o hospodářskou úroveň oblasti. Snahou bylo posouzení co je pro tuto oblast důležitější, zda nekompromisní a bezvýhradná ochrana životního prostředí nebo turismus, který tuto oblast ekonomicky zajišťuje.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on landscape character and tourism in the context of environmental protection. It deals primarily with the relationship of professional protectors in various organisations and owners of land and buildings in the area, including the opinion of the lay public. Problems on the Czech territory are confronted with similar problems abroad and conclusions are drawn from this activity. Since each country is different, there were different procedures and work of environmental protection staff in each country. The main point is the cooperation of Czech experts with world experts, which is a great asset to our country and especially to endangered nature. The thesis will focus on the detailed study of the problems of the highest places of the Jeseníky Mountains and Praděd surroundings. It is chronologically proceed from the history of the territory and the historical settlement through the development of the landscape character and, mainly, the development of tourism. Hiking, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing are distinguished. Everything is focused on how these activities could damage nature. From the available media sources are chosen the opinions of different sort people, especially those that have been the economic level of the area. The endeavour was to assess what is more important for this area, whether the uncompromising and unconditional environmental protection or tourism that is economically viable in this area.
