Tato diplomová práce se zabývá konstrukcí a rekonstrukcí fikčního světa Bas Lagu, který China Miéville vytvořil pro svůj druhý román Nádraží Perdido. Konstrukce tohoto fikčního světa je v této práci popsána podle Doleželova konceptu fikční sémantiky a podle teorie možných světů v literatur Ruth Ronenové. This thesis deals with the construction and reconstruction of the fictional world Bas Lag created by China Miéville for his second novel Perdido Street Station. Consrtuction of this fictional world is described according to Doležel´s concept of fictional semantics presented in his work Hetercosmica (1998) and according to the theory of possible worlds in literature by Ruth Ronen.
