The Childhood and Youth of Subjects in Moravia in the Second Half of the Eighteenth Century (the Example of the Slavkov Estate)
Abstract:
Cílem této práce je studovat dětství a dospívání poddaných na Moravě ve druhé polovině 18. století na příkladu panství Slavkov u Brna. Hlavní výzkumnou otázkou je, jak pohlaví, sociální postavení, osiření a místo původu ovlivňovalo čelední a vojenskou službu, vzdělávání a migraci mladých lidí. Dále je zkoumáno, jakým způsobem změnily osvícenské reformy život dětí a dospívajících.
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to explore childhood and youth of subjects on the estate of Slavkov u Brna in the second half of the eighteenth century. The main research question is in what ways gender, social status, orphaning and place of origin influenced domestic and military service, education and migration of young people.
