Táto diplomová práca popisuje možnosti využitia GIS pre účely krajinných úprav. Zameriava sa pritom na oblasť hydrológie a modelovanie povrchového odtoku. Súčasťou práce je aj popis problematiky DMR, jeho využitia v krajinnom plánovaní a tvorby v prostredí GIS.
