Causes of homelessness

Abstract:

Práce pojednává o vnímaných příčinách bezdomovectví, díky kterým jsou lidé z Ústeckého kraje bez domova. Výzkumný soubor tvořili jedinci, kteří využívají služeb Azylových domů v Ústeckém kraji. K realizaci výzkumu byl zvolen typ kvantitativního přístupu a k analýze dat byly použity jak statistické metody deskriptivního charakteru, tak metody korelační analýzy. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo celkem 115 respondentů obou pohlaví. Výstupem výzkumu jsou i odpovědi na otázky, jaké příčiny připisují svému bezdomovectví jednotlivá pohlaví, jaký vliv mohlo mít na bezdomovectví vzdělání bezdomovců, a v neposlední řadě i jejich životní spokojenost a optimismus do života.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the perceived causes of homelessness because of which the people from Ústecký region are homeless. The research subject consisted of individuals who use services of Reception centres in Ústecký region. The quantitative approach was chosen for the implementation of research and the statistical methods of descriptive character as well as the methods of correlation analysis were used for the data analysis. The research subject comprised of 115 responders of both genders. The outcome of this research are also the answers to questions - Which causes do the individual genders attribute to their homelessness?, What influence could the education of homeless people have to their homelessness?, and last not least What influence could their life satisfaction and life optimism have to their homelessness?
