Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou hospodaření příspěvkových organizací, a to Domova pro seniory sv. Hedviky-Kravaře a Domova Bílá Opava. Obě zařízení jsou poskytovateli sociální služby – Domov pro seniory. V teoretické části práce jsou definovány základní pojmy z oblasti sociální politiky, sociálních služeb a pravidel hospodaření příspěvkových organizací.
