Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem této práce bylo zjistit znalosti laické veřejnosti o problematice mozkových iktů. Zda veřejnost zná příznaky tohoto onemocnění, jeho rizikové faktory a preventivní opatření, kterými lze tomuto onemocnění předcházet. Metodika: Průzkumný soubor tvořilo 98 pacientů z ordinací dvou praktických lékařů v Nemocnici Blansko. Dotazníkové šetření bylo realizováno v lednu a únoru 2012. Výsledky: Šetřením bylo zjištěno, že většina respondentů má znalosti o prevenci mozkového iktu a je přesvědčena, že i absolvováním pravidelných preventivních prohlídek u praktického lékaře lze tomuto onemocnění předcházet. Jejich znalosti příznaků a rizikových faktorů tohoto onemocnění, ale stále nejsou dostačující. Závěr: Mozkový iktus je závažné onemocnění s vysokou úmrtností a častou příčinou invalidity. Proto je důležité znát jak rizikové faktory tohoto onemocnění, preventivní opatření, tak i jeho příznaky

Abstract:

Objective: The aim of this study was to determine knowledge of the general public about the problems of cerebral stroke. Whether the public is aware of the symptoms of this disease, its risk factors and preventive measures which can prevent this disease . Methods: The survey group was 98 patients from two offices of general practitioners in the Hospital Blansko. The survey was realized during January and February 2012. Findings: The investigation found that most respondents have knowledge on the prevention of cerebral stroke and is confident that the completion and regular preventive examinations by a medical practitioner can prevent this disease. Their knowledge of symptoms and risk factors of this disease , but still not enough. Conclusion: Cerebral stroke is a serious disease with high mortality and frequent cause of disability. It is therefore important to know how this disease risk factors , preventive measures and its symptoms
