Analysis of the needs of disabled people in relation to travel

Abstract:

Anotace Tématem práce je analýza potřeb zdravotně znevýhodněných ve vztahu k cestování, konkrétně se zaměřuje na situaci vozíčkářů. Teoretická část obsahuje vymezení základních pojmů a potřeb vozíčkářů, dále se zabývá již existujícími možnostmi cestování pro vozíčkáře.Návrhová část se zaměřuje na doporučení poskytovatelům služeb v cestovním ruchu.Cílem práce bylo zmapovat a zanalyzovat reálné motivy a potřeby zdravotně znevýhodněných osob ve vztahu k cestování a uvést je do souvislostí s ostatními prioritami v jejich životě.Vzhledem k povaze výzkumného problému byly použity metody a postupy kvalitativního výzkumu.

Abstract:

The theme of the thesis is to analyze needs of the handicapped in relation to traveling, it specifically focuses on the situation of wheelchair users. The theoretical part includes definitions of basic concepts and needs of wheelchair users, further it discusses the existing travel possibilities of wheelchair users. The draft section focuses on recommendations for service providers in tourism. The aim of the thesis was to map and analyze the real motives and needs of the disadvantaged people in relation to travel and to put them in context to other priorities in their lives.Due to the character of the research problem, methods and approaches of qualitative research were used.
