Simulation methods of studying the properties of statistical tests
Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme pomocí metody Monte Carlo zkoumání chyby I. a chyby II. druhu statistických testů o shodě středních hodnot. Konkrétně jde o dvouvýběrový t test, Welchův test, Yuenův test a dvouvýběrový Wilcoxonův test. K odhadu těchto chyb používáme skripty v softwaru R.
Abstract:
In this thesis we study probability of type I error and type II error of statistical tests using Monte Carlo method. Investigated tests are Student's t test, Welch's test, Yuen's test and Wilcoxon's test. For estimating the probability of each error we are using script in statistical software R.
