Countryside Renewal in the South Moravian Region

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou obnovy venkova v Jihomoravském kraji. Hlavním cílem je posouzení úspěšné realizace Místního programu obnovy vesnice ve vybraných lokalitách. První kapitola se zabývá definicí pojmu venkov. Základními tématem jsou různé definice venkova a vymezení venkova v České republice na základě různých kritérií. Další kapitola se věnuje obnově venkova, jejím aktérům a také soutěži Vesnice roku. Třetí část objasňuje výzkumnou metodu, techniky sběru dat a popisuje průběh kvalitativního výzkumu. V poslední částí jsou výsledky výzkumu prezentovány a interpretovány.

Abstract:

Theme of this diploma thesis is the county renewal in South Moravian Region. The basic aim is the evaluation of the “Village renewal local program”. The first chapter of the thesis defines the countryside. Fundamental topics are various definitions of rural areas, definition of Czech rural areas from the different approaches. Next chapter pays attention to countryside renewal, its participants and village of the year competition. Third part of the thesis explains method and techniques of data collection and describes course of this qualitative research. In the last part of the thesis findings are analysed and results of research are presented and interpreted.
