Social deviance and norms of behavior in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce na téma „Sociální deviace a normy chování v České republice“ se zabývá jednotlivými typy sociálních deviací v kontextu české společnosti. Cílem práce je zanalyzovat různé druhy sociální deviace, jejich příčiny, důsledky a způsoby řešení, a také porozumět tomu, jak jsou normy chování vytvářeny a udržovány v České republice. V první části bakalářské práce popisuji nejdříve význam slova deviace a normy chování, následně je rozděluji do dvou kategorií podle dopadu. Dále přibližuji a klasifikuji mnou vybraná témata, jako jsou prostituce, bezdomovectví, alkoholismus a gamblerství a uvádím příčiny, dopady, typy a typologii konkrétní deviace a možnou prevenci. Ve druhé části se věnuji sekundární analýze dat, která čerpám z výzkumů či projektů, které jsem si k daným tématům vybrala. Na závěr každé kapitoly srovnávám výzkumy mezi sebou a zjišťuji, jak na danou problematiku nahlíží společnost. V poslední řadě každou z deviací zařazuji k určitým trestním činům, které se pojí s dopady deviantního chování.

Abstract:

My bachelor’s thesis on „Social deviance and norms of behavior in the Czech Republic“ deals with individual types of social deviance in the context of Czech society. The aim of the thesis is to analyze different types of social deviation, their causes, consequences and solutions, as well as to understand how behavioral norms are created and maintained in the Czech Republic. In the first part of the bachelor's thesis I first describe the meaning of the word deviation and norms of behavior, then I divide them into two categories according to the impact. Next, I approach and classify the topics chosen by me, such as prostitution, homelessness, alcoholism and gambling, and present the causes, effects, types and typology of specific deviation and possible prevention. In the second part, I focus on the secondary analysis of data that I draw from research or projects that I have chosen for the given topics. At the end of each chapter, I compare the research with each other and find out how society views the given issue. Finally, I classify each of the deviations as certain crimes that are associated with the effects of deviant behavior.
