The use of Automated External Defibrillator during cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývala využitím Automatizovaného externího defibrilátoru (dále jen AED) u kardiopulmonální resuscitace (dále jen KPR). AED je určen k poskytnutí neodkladné defibrilace. Pomocí vizuální a akustické nápovědy pomáhá zachránci dodržovat správný postup při laické první pomoci (dále jen PP). Cílem bakalářské práce bylo pomocí edukace zvýšit povědomí laické veřejnosti při využití AED u KPR. Práce byla rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsme popsali PP, KPR, základní životní funkce (vědomí, dýchání, krevní oběh), doporučení KPR dle Guidelines 2010, AED a jeho užití. K praktické části jsme provedli edukaci desetičlenné skupiny laiků z obce Halenkov o využití AED u KPR. Za pomoci dotazníků, rozhovoru a pozorování jsme zjistili jejich znalosti a dovednosti v této problematice. V rámci edukačního procesu jsme natočili instruktážní video pro názornou ukázku KPR s AED. Vytvořili jsme informační brožury a prezentaci k výuce. V edukační lekci, jež trvala 60 minut, si edukanti teoreticky i prakticky osvojili PP v oblasti KPR s využitím AED.

Abstract:

Thesis dealt with the use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED hereinafter ) in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR hereinafter ). AED is designed to provide immediate defibrillation. With visual and audible aids help rescuers to follow the instructions of first aid ( hereinafter PP). The aim of this thesis was to increase awareness through education of the general public in the use of AED with CPR. The work was divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical section, we describe the PP, CPR, basic life functions (consciousness, breathing, circulation), according to the recommendations of CPR Guidelines 2010 AED and it is use. The practical part of the education we conducted a ten groups of lay people from the community Halenkov the use of AED with CPR. With the help of questionnaires, interviews and observations , we found their knowledge and skills in this area. In the educational process, we recorded an instructional video for a visual demonstration of CPR with AED. We created brochures and presentation of teaching. Educational lesson lasted 60 minutes, where the educator familiar with PP in CPR using the AED, both theoretically and practically
