Advantages and disadvantages of the entrance of the Czech Republic into the EU

Anotace:

Obsahem práce je chronologicko-deskriptivní analýza průběhu předstupních jednání a následného vstupu ČR do EU a hodnocení pozitiv a negativ, jež s touto problematikou souvisí. Práce v první části popisuje smluvní strany, tj. Českou republiku a Evropskou unii v mezinárodním kontextu, dále vytváří v teoretické části obecný model, jak lze vstup státu do mezinárodní organizace hodnotit obecně a vychází při tom především z realistického modelu mezinárodních vztahů. Obecný model jako základní analytické oblasti stanovuje oblast politiky, ekonomiky a oblast sociálně-kulturní. V praktické části je potom hodnocen soulad teoretických úvah s konkrétními údaji a obecný model je aplikován na vstup ČR do EU. Pozitiva a negativa jsou primárně analyzována z pohledu České republiky jako nové členské země, ale jsou hodnoceny také přínosy a rizika ze strany Evropské unie jako smluvního partnera. Cílem práce je zodpovězení otázky, zda byl vstup české republiky do EU výhodný, a to jak z pohledu ČR, tak z pohledu EU. Práce shrnuje veškeré dosažené závěry v poslední závěrové části a vytváří rekapitulaci.

Abstract:

The main subject of the dissertation is the chronologic-descriptive analysis of the continuance of preentrance proceedings and following entrance of the Czech Republic into the European Union and evaluation of positives and negatives, which are related to these topic. In the first part, the dissertation describes the contracting parties, it means Czech Republic and European Union, in international context. Hereafter creates in theoretical part the common modell, how to evaluace the entrance of a state into an international organisation. This modell results from the realistic theory of international relations. Common modell specifies three basic categories for analysis - the politics, the economy and the social-cultural category. In the practical part of the dissertation is evaluated the conformity of the theoretical part with particular dates and than the common modell is applied on the entrance of the Czech republic into the European Union. Advantages and disadvantages are primary analysed from the view of the Czech Republic as new Memberstate, but they are also analysed the positives and negatives from the view of the EU. The main goal of the dissertation is answering the question, if the entrance of Czech Republic was advantegous at least for one of the partners. Dissertation summarizes all coclusions in the last part and make some recapitulation.
