Update of agroclimatological conditions of the grape-growing subregion

Abstract:

Jižní Morava patří k nejteplejší a nejúrodnějším oblastem České republiky. Réva vinná je teplomilná rostlina, která je mimo závislosti na stanovištních podmínkách, velmi závislá na průběhu počasí. Podnebí České republiky je typické svou velkou proměnlivostí. V posledních několika letech jsou navíc mnohem silněji vnímány i změny klimatu, globální oteplování a s ním spojené výskyty sucha. Moje práce se zabývá aktualizací agroklimatických podmínek, popisem dynamiky klimatických podmínek a bioklimatických charakteristik v období 2011–2019 v Bzeneckém vinařském regionu. Dynamika teplotních charakteristik (teploty vzduchu, teplotní sumy, heliotermický index) je v rámci roku i jednotlivých let výrazná a vykazuje rostoucí trend. Z analýz srážkových charakteristik také vyplývá, že i přes to, že srážkové úhrny nevykazují významnou klesající tendenci, díky měnícímu se rozložení srážek v rámci roku a rostoucí teplotě vzduchu, je pravděpodobnost výskytu sucha stále častější.

Abstract:

South Moravia is one of the warmest and most fertile areas in the Czech Republic. The vine is a thermophilic plant which, apart from its terroir conditions, is highly dependent on the course of the weather. The climate of the Czech Republic is characterized by its huge variability. In addition, climate change, global warming and associated occurrences of drought have been much more perceived in the last few years. My thesis deals with updating agroclimatic conditions, a description of the dynamics of climatic conditions and bioclimatic characteristics for the period 2011–2019 in Bzenec wine region. The dynamics of temperature characteristics (air temperatures, temperature sums, heliothermic index) shows an increasing trend and considerable variability within individual years. Analyzes of precipitation characteristics also show that, despite the fact that precipitation totals do not show a significant declining trend, the probability of drought is becoming more frequent due to the changing distribution of precipitation within the year and rising air temperature. From analysis of rainfall characteristics implies, even though the rainfall does not show a significant decreasing trend, that due to the changing distribution of rainfall within a year and rising air temperatures, the probability of drought become more frequent.
