Tento román je analyzován prostřednictvím několika desetiletí akademické kritiky a zejména stran raketové techniky, geografie poválečného Německa a vlivu filmu. Abstract:
This Master's Thesis deals with Gravity's Rainbow, Thomas Pynchon's 1973 novel. This novel is analyzed using decades of academic criticism. The main areas of interest are rocket technology, geography of postwar Germany, and the influence of film. These three areas of interest form the main body of the thesis and each chapter has three subchapters, which examine different aspects of Pynchon's novel …more
