Rural municialities transformations in Ceska Lipa district after 1945 (selected villages)

Abstract:

Tato práce zkoumá proměnu vybraných vesnických sídel na území ORP Česká Lípa po roce 1945 až do současnosti. Cílem této práce je analyzovat vybrané tři obce pomocí různých metod a tím zjistit jak se vesnická sídla po roce 1945 v pohraničí vyvíjela. Jedná se o obce s odlišným počtem obyvatel, tak aby práce zahrnovala různé velikostní typy vesnic. Těmito vybranými obcemi jsou Stvolínky, Velenice a Zahrádky. Práce je především zaměřena na sociogeografickou analýzu vybrané obce, její historii a její urbanistickou strukturu včetně trendů urbanizace. Analýza obce probíhala zejména statistickou metodou, studováním odborných publikací, vlastním místním šetření a také z materiálů dostupných na internetu či rozhovorem s pamětníkem jedné z obcí. Přínosem této práce je nejen zjištění proměn vybraných obcí, ale také souhrnná historická i statistická struktura po roce 1945 až do současnosti, která se tak může stát přínosná pro zájemce o jejich historii.

Abstract:

This paper examines the transformation of some selected rural settlements in the MEP (municipality with extended powers) Czech Lipa from 1945 up to the present. The aim of this paper is to analyze three selected municipalities using a variety of methods to determine how rural settlements in this border region have developed since 1945. These are municipalities with different populations, so the work deals with different villages concerning their size. These selected villages are Stvolínky, Velenice and Zahrádky. The work is mainly focused on the socio-geographic analysis of a definite village, its history and its urban structure, including the urbanization trend. The analysis of the village was mainly made with the help of the statistical method, by studying professional publications, using local self-investigation and also with the help of the materials available on the Internet, and the interview with the witness from one of the villages. The contribution of this work is not only detections of changes in the selected municipalities, but also introducing their historical and statistical structure from 1945 up to the present, which can become beneficial for people interested in their history.
