Idioms with sense organs expressing emotions and human activities

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse German phrasems with the sense organs: eyes, ears, nose and tongue, which express emotions. The thesis is divided into two parts – a theoretical and a practical part. In the first part the basic theoretical concepts are explained: phrasem, its characteristics, classification of phrasems and contrastive phraseology. The second part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of selected phrasems and their emotion classify. Each phrasem is given the Czech equivalent, the degree of equivalence and the style.

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza německých frazeologismů se smyslovými orgány: oči, uši, nos a jazyk, které vyjadřují emoce. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části – teoretickou a praktickou část. V první části jsou vysvětleny základní teoretické pojmy: frazeologismus, jeho vlastnosti, klasifikace frazeologismů a kontrastivní frazeologie. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na analýzu vybraných frazeologismů a jejich přiřazení k emocím. U každého frazeologismu je uveden český ekvivalent, stupeň ekvivalence, styl.
