Improving the performance and satisfaction of selected workers surveyed enterprise introduction of High Performance Team

Abstract:

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je zvýšení výkonnosti a spokojenosti vybraných pracovníků zkoumaného podniku zavedením systému High Performance Team (tj. Výkonný tým), dále jen HPT. V teoretické části, která byla vypracována na základě odborné literatury, jsem vysvětlila pojmy pracovní výkonnost a spokojenost, jejich význam a faktory, kterými lze tyto pojmy ovlivňovat. Dále jsem se zaměřila na charakteristiku systému HPT. Praktická část se skládala z představení zkoumané firmy, stanovení hypotéz a realizace vlastního výzkumu. Cílem výzkumu bylo na základě teoretických poznatků posoudit fungování systému HPT ve zkoumaném podniku a pomocí dvou výzkumných metod zjistit názory respondentů na danou problematiku. Při realizaci výzkumu ve společnosti Parker Hannifin Industrial s. r. o. jsem použila metodu dotazníkového šetření se členy výkonných týmů a metodu rozhovoru s leaderem výkonného týmu. Na základě výsledků výzkumu jsem v poslední kapitole navrhla vlastní zlepšení týmových dovedností členů týmu, které by vedly ke zvýšení výkonnosti a spokojenosti těchto zaměstnanců.

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor thesis is the increase in effectiveness and satisfaction of selected employees of the company in consideration through the implementation of High Performance Team system (HPT). In the theoretical part, which was elaborated based on professional literature, I explained the terms work effectiveness and satisfaction, their meaning and factors which influence them. Further I focused on the characteristics of the HPT system. The practical part includes the introduction of the considered company, determination of hypotheses and conducting the research itself. The aim of the research was to assess the functioning of the HPT system in the company based on the theoretical findings and through two research methods to find out the opinions of respondents on given issues. In conducting the research in Parker Hannifin Industrial s. r. o. company I used the survey method with the members of high performance teams and the interview method with the leader. Based on the findings of the research I proposed improvements of team skills of the team members, which would lead to increasing the effectiveness and satisfaction of these employees.
